In this rainforest they get a yearly total of 140 to 170 inches - 355.6 to 431.8cm (or 12 to 14 feet - 3.56 to 4.32 meters) of precipitation each year!!!
I think at least a foot fell while I was in there for the couple of hours photographing ( wiping my lens dry ).
